Visions & Voices: the Civil Rights Movement in Nashville & Tennessee May 18, 2010

The Nashville community along with a group of students organized sit-ins, city marches, and an effective store boycott to promote the desegregation of their city. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Nashville Sit-In Movement, the Nashville Public Library will be commemorating the event with a special exhibit in the Courtyard Gallery.
