Vishnu: Hinduism's Blue-Skinned Savior February 26, 2011

This will be the first major museum exhibition to focus on Vishnu-one of Hinduism's three major deities. Composed of approximately 150 paintings and sculptures made in India between the second century and 1900 A.D., this exhibition will serve as a brief survey of Hindu art styles as well as an examination of the Vaishnava tradition.
