Virtual Worlds Business Speed Networking November 13, 2007

Coventry University’s Serious Games Institute (SGI) is to run speed dating to bring together Second Life developers with businesses looking to exploit the commercial opportunities of virtual worlds.

The first event of its kind in Europe, the Virtual World Business Speed Networking will take place on 13 November 2007 from 5pm to 7pm through Second Life as well as at physical locations, including the SGI in Coventry, Birmingham City University, London and Derry. Businesses will be given a ‘tour’ of Second Life islands which demonstrate the opportunities for showcasing products, attracting new customers, building customer loyalty and generating revenue.
