As you are undoubtedly aware, the tragic events which transpired at Virginia Tech on April 16th, 2007 have left an indelible impression which has been felt globally.

For most, the initial shock and horror is slowly giving way to grief, confusion and a deep sense of loss.

It is during this most difficult of times that we at SAITSA feel obliged to assist our faculty, staff, students and community in general deal with the myriad of emotions they may be experiencing in light of current events and to also express to our sister Institution, Virginia Tech that they are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.

We therefore request the honor of your presence at the Virginia Tech. Memorial Service which will be held in front of the South Entrance of Heritage Hall on Monday April 23rd, 2007 at 8:30pm. (rain or shine).

There will be a public address from 8:30pm-9:30pm followed by a minute of silence and reflection.
