Virginia Scottish Games September 12, 2008

The 35th Annual Virginia Scottish Games & Festival will take place on the weekend of September 13th and 14th at scenic Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane, VA. Gates open at 9AM and close at 6PM. Tickets are $15. Children 5 – 12 are $5 and under 5 are free. A two-day pass can be purchased for $20. We honor our active duty military with $5 off the price of admission with ID at the gate. Sunday is Children’s Day with free admission for all children 12 and under. Throughout the weekend children will have the opportunity to participate in a kid’s version of the highland athletics and interact with some of the athletes at various times throughout the day. Sky Meadows State Park is located on Rt. 17 one mile south of Rt. 50 or six miles north of I-66 in Delaplane, VA and is just 45 minutes from the Washington Beltway.
