RICHMOND, Va. – (February 18, 2009) The latest cars, trucks, sport/utility vehicles and crossovers will pack the Greater Richmond Convention Center Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, for the 2009 Virginia Motor Trend International Auto Show. From hybrids and hot pre-production models to luxury vehicles and small economy cars, the Virginia Motor Trend International Auto Show offers something for everyone!

Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect engines and learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies.

On display at the Virginia Motor Trend International Auto Show will be several exciting, all-new or redesigned 2009 vehicles including the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Ford F-150, GMC Sierra, Hummer H3T, Mazda6, Nissan 370Z, Subaru Forester, Toyota Venza and more, as well as a collection of hybrids including the Cadillac Escalade, Ford Escape, Lexus RX400h and Toyota Highlander, among others. The show will also offer an up-close look at several pre-production models yet to hit the dealer showrooms including the 2010 Buick LaCrosse, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, 2010 Ford Mustang, 2010 Ford Fusion, 2010 Lincoln MKS, 2010 Lincoln MKZ and 2010 Mercury Milan.

Some of the most sought-after exotic cars will be on display, courtesy of Foreign Cars Italia. Flaunting cutting edge designs and high horsepower engines, these high-end models from Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati feature sticker prices well into the six figures and offer an escape from the ordinary commute.

Follow the Green Trail at the Virginia Motor Trend International Auto Show and learn about the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles. Green directional arrows will help attendees find alternative fuel models on the show floor. Not only are these vehicles fuel-efficient, they also showcase new technology to help save money at the fuel pump and promote a cleaner environment.

Attendees will not want to miss Roy Hill’s Drag Racing School Display, featuring the largest and most technically advanced fleet of drag racing cars in the country.
