Violin, Viola & Piano with Andrew McIntosh and Gayle Blankenburg April 2, 2011

Violinist, violist and composer Andrew McIntosh has performed in recitals, festivals, concerts and recording studios throughout the U.S. and Europe with his playing reviewed as having a “commanding beauty.” He is joined by pianist Gayle Blankenburg, a former artist with Southwest Chamber Music who regularly performs as a solo pianist, and chamber musician in the U.S. Europe and China. They will perform Prokofiev’s Sonata No. 1 in F minor, Op. 80, Richard Cameron-Wolfe’s Toccata for solo piano, Ligeti’s Sonata for solo viola, Samuel Vriezen’s Twine Suite and Schubert’s Fantasy in C Major, D 934.
