Vinyl from Reykjavik, Iceland have made it their mission to remind us of the importance of rock n? roll. They play it loud, and even a little bit sleazy, and make no apologies along the way. Their roots are as much in the testosterone punch of Guns N? Roses as the amphetamine crush of the Stooges. The Icelandic funk band Jagúar was formed in 1998. They started out by playing music by the JB´s, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire and many other 70?s funkateers. The band consists of seven members, including a 3-piece horn section. Jagúar is known for hot-and-steamy live shows carried with deep bass lines and brilliant beats.
