Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla was co-founder of Daisy Systems and founding CEO of Sun Microsystems. In 1986 Khosla switched from engineering to investing, and driven by the need for flexibility and a desire to be more creative,he formed Khosla Ventures. Since 2004 he has funded a wide range of both traditional and emerging technologies.
