He is one of the world's most anticipated and talented new artists - the successor to his two-time GRammy Award winning father, Ali Farka Toure. A brilliant guitarist, singer, and sonwriter, Vieux brings the energy and charisma that has mesmerized audiences in Europe and African to Canada for the first time. BAcked by an all-star cast of Malian and American musicians - including the legendary ngoni-player Mama Sissoko - Vieux brings together rock, funk and reggae with the desert blues of Mali in an electrifying new global sound.
