Bill Coyle’s first collection of poetry, The God of This World to His Prophet, won the New Criterion Poetry Prize and was published in 2006. His poems have appeared in journals such as The Hudson Review, The New Criterion, the New Republic, and Poetry, and in The Swallow Anthology of New American Poets. He is also a translator from the Swedish.


Anna Evans is editor of The Barefoot Muse and The Raintown Review, and Contributing/Online Editor for the The Schuylkill Valley Journal. Her poems have appeared in journals including the Harvard Review, Rattle, the Atlanta Review, The Evansville Review and 32 Poems. Her chapbooks Selected Sonnets and Swimming are available from Maverick Duck Press, (formerly Powerscore Press.)-

Ernest Hilbert was educated at Oxford University, where he edited the Oxford Quarterly. He hosts the popular blog and video show www.everseradio.com. His debut collection is Sixty Sonnets. LATR Editions, Brooklyn, issued Aim Your Arrows at the Sun, a hand-sewn chapbook in an edition of 250 with a foreword by Adam Kirsch. Hilbert’s poems have appeared in Fence, The New Republic, Yale Review, American Poetry Review, Parnassus, Boston Review, Verse, Meridian, American Scholar, and the London Review.


April Lindner’s poetry collection, Skin, received the 2001 Walt McDonald First Book Prize from Texas Tech University Press. Her novel, Jane, a modernization of Jane Eyre, was published in October by Little, Brown's Poppy imprint. With R. S. Gwynn, she co-edited Contemporary American Poetry, an anthology in Longman’s Penguin Academics series. She is an associate professor of English at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.-


James Matthew Wilson is an Assistant Professor at Villanova University. He is the author of a book of poems, Four Verse Letters (2010), and an editor of Front Porch Republic (frontporchrepublic.com). His poems have appeared in Modern Age, First Things, The Dark Horse, and elsewhere.-


Alfred Nicol who received the 2004 Richard Wilbur Award for his first book of poems, Winter Light, also edited The Powow River Anthology, published in 2006. His poems have been anthologized in Contemporary Poetry of New England (Robert Pack and Jay Parini, editors) and in Sonnets: 150 Contemporary Sonnets (William Baer, editor), and have appeared in Poetry, Commonweal, The New England Review, The Dark Horse, First Things and The Formalist. His new book, Elegy for Everyone, was chosen to receive the Anita Dorn Memorial Award, and was published in 2010.-


David Yezzi’s books of poetry are The Hidden Model (TriQuarterly, 2003), and Azores (Swallow, 2008). He is the editor of The Swallow Anthology of New American Poets (Swallow Press, 2009). His poems have appeared recently in the Pushcart anthology, The Best American Poetry, and Bright Wings, edited by Billy Collins. An evening of verse monologues, Dirty Dan & Other Travesties, with music by Chris Lee, was recently performed at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York . A former director of the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y in New York City, he is executive editor of The New Criterion.
