Singer/songwriter Vic Chesnutt deals in emotionally charged, intelligent folk rock. A paraplegic who was injured in a car accident when he was 18, the contemporary acoustic folk of the Athens, GA, native has gained him the admiration of such artists as Michael Stipe, Hootie & the Blowfish and Widespread Panic.

The band has been called "the Napoleon Dynamite of indie rock," and "a drunker, circus-reared version of The Band" by various media outlets. Ian Thomas is the former frontman for the folk group Tranquillity Base. He has also worked as a solo artist and with the group The Boomers.
