Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA) will host a Veterans Day Celebration on November 11, 2009. Armed service veterans, their families, and currently serving military members will be our guests of honor at this special event. CUAA will receive a U.S. Flag that was flown over the State Capitol Building in Lansing, Mich., in honor of Michigan's veterans and servicemembers. Members of the University of Michigan Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) will perform the flag dedication, which begins at 11:30 a.m.

The public is welcomed to attend the flag dedication ceremony, which starts at 11:30 a.m. Miss Michigan, Nicole Blaszczyk, will also speak to those in attendance during the ceremony. At noon, there will be flyover by two A-10 jets. At 12:02 p.m., and CH-47 Chinook helicopter will land at the campus and be available as a static display.
