Veterans Day at Hillwood November 11, 2007

In the 1960s, Marjorie Merriweather Post entertained Vietnam War veterans at Hillwood. In that same spirit, the estate once again opens its doors to veterans and military personnel. Enjoy a relaxing day exploring Hillwood’s splendid Mansion and grounds. The day features gallery talks and a family art activity. Tours of the Mansion and gardens, café dining, and shopping are also part of this special Sunday opening. Estate donation waived for active-duty personnel, retirees, veterans, reservists, and members of the National Guard and Coast Guard, and their families. Included in estate donation for all others.
