This years Veterans Day has a diverse range of entertainment and interests for everyone.

It doesn’t matter if you are into Jive, Jitterbug or Lindy Hopping, or just like a bopping good time to the Swing music of wartime Britain, you are welcome to Bradford Veteran’s Day open-air tea dance. London based, award winning dance company, the Jiving Lindy Hoppers, backed by music of the Swing Shifters are looking forward to hosting an afternoon of music and dance from the 1940’s.

The day starts with a moving drumhead service, which will be held on the steps of City Hall.

Throughout the day there will an opportunity to visit the Veterans Village marquee and talk to the men and women who served in the armed forces. The army field kitchen will serve hot meals throughout the day. There is a climbing wall for anyone feeling more athletic.
