Governor Peter Shumlin will kick off the event with a welcome address that highlights state broadband projects, and how his administration supports expanded access to technology, training and resources.

The conference keynote speaker will be Nicco Mele. In 2003 he was named by Esquire Magazine as one of America‘s “best and brightest, and is a lecturer at Harvard University. Nicco is a leading expert in the integration of social media and Web 2.0 with politics, business and communications, and was the webmaster for Governor Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign.
