poses, heart opening backbends, and juicy twists. Kindle your inner

SATURDAY 2:30-5 pm: Three Sacred Qualities of Being: The Gunas

In the depths of an autumn afternoon, explore the three earthly
qualities of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas, and how they are reflected and
vibrate inside of you. Enjoy a skillfully sequenced series of seated
forward bends, deep hip openers and calming twists, as well as
headstand and shoulderstand (modifications will be given). End with a
blissful guided relaxation on the five layers of consciousness (the Koshas).

Elizabeth & Anjali are both avid students, practitioners, and
teachers of Anusara Yoga. They have each trained and practiced with a
wide variety of talented Anusara teachers, and they met while
while assisting Todd Norian at Kripalu. Anjali owns Yoga Mountain
Center in Montpelier, Vermont, and her classes are powered by the
beauty, potency, and alchemy of nature. Her sessions are both
grounding and soul-lifting, guiding students to safely deepen their
practice and open their hearts. Elizabeth teaches in the Boston area,
having recently returned from a year of offering Anusara Yoga in
Vietnam and Cambodia. They are core members of the New England
Anusara Kula (community), and this is the first of many retreats together.
Anjali and Elizabeth's styles complement each other beautifully.
Can't wait to share autumn and yoga together with you!
