Ventura County Fair July 30, 2008

The theme of the 133rd Ventura County Fair will be “Meet me at the Fair”.

“Meet me at the Fair is one of the best themes we have ever had. The possibilities are unlimited and left only to the imagination.” said Kenneth M. Hess, president of the Fairgrounds Board of Directors. “It is a theme we can all relate to. Many of our families, friends and neighbors meet at the Fair every year. Children text their friends to meet at the Carnival Midway. Community groups meet at the Fair to participate in the most exciting event in Ventura County. Some who have met here, have fallen in love and remain together for the rest of their lives, meeting at the Fair again each year to relive those romantic days. “

The Fair has always been the hub of the community, bringing together friends and family who come to see the educational, the entertaining, the latest and greatest in technology, arts and agriculture. The Fair allows visitors to see the world in a unique and wondrous way.

For 12 days of family fun with something for everyone, meet us at the 133rd Ventura County Fair; open Wednesday, July 30 through Sunday August 10.
