VCU Flamenco Festival III March 23, 2012

VCU Flamenco Festival III will bring a group of leading flamenco artists to the Richmond community on March 23 through March 25, renewing a series known for generating crowd-pleasing performances.
The festival will feature three concerts and a flamenco guitar workshop.

March 23 “Flamenco Completo” guitarist Marija Temo and dancer Ulrika Frank
March 24 “Flamenco Fiesta,” guitarist Miguelito, dancers and a singer.
March 25 “Flamenco Finale,” with Richmond ensembles Suenos Gitanos and Flamenco del Sur.

As part of the festival, Miguelito will conduct a flamenco guitar master class on March 24 at 2 p.m. The workshop will be held at the James W. Black Music Center Recital Hall, 1015 Grove Ave. Admission is free!
