Vancouver Singles Lend a Hand, Fill a Heart - Charity Event November 9, 2008

Join Meet Market Adventures and other good-hearted singles, as we work in the heart of the Vancouver Food Bank operation sorting incoming donations. Our event will start at 9:00 AM with a brief orientation and tour of the facility and then we’ll get down to work, for every 10 skids our group sorts we will help feed 800 people. The Food Bank is always in need of cash donations and volunteers.

100% of the proceeds from this event will go to the Vancouver Food Bank. As a non-government funded organization Vancouver Food Bank relies on the generosity of the public to provide monetary donations. With each dollar you donate, we can purchase three dollars worth of nutritious groceries for the thousands of people we support each week.

It is always a tremendous blessing for those who come to receive and those who come to serve. Open your hearts and show your generosity with MMA!
