Vancouver Singles Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing & Rappelling May 23, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other Adventurous Singles as we scale new heights while learning to rock climb at Smoke Bluffs in Squamish. If you've never tried climbing before but are curious about the sport, then this is the adventure for you!

After being outfitted with harnesses and helmets, our highly trained certified guides will walk us through safety rules prior to our hands on lesson. We will learn about cliff safety, equipment use and care, basic knots, belay skills, climbing technique and rappelling. Then we’ll spend the afternoon practicing what we’ve learned as we climb Smoke Bluffs and develop a new found love for the popular sport of rock climbing.

Don’t forger your camera so you can photograph the surrounding countryside once you reach the top and of course have some pictures taken of your climbs to prove to your friends that you really were “that high up” on the rock face!
