Vancouver Singles Intro To Sailing June 19, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other single sailors as we learn how to sail with MacSailing. Located in the Jericho Sailing Centre, MacSailing enjoys a great beach location and access to the best sailing venue in Canada. Our certified instructors will provide us with a brief introduction to the basics of sailing. We will work as a team to learn basic crewing skills such as navigation, attending to the sails and helmsmanship.

This hands-on experience will have you maneuvering around your boat in no time. You can expect to learn sailing terminology, points of sail, tacking, gybing, and knots. After your sailing experience, you can then decide to kick back and enjoy some beverages with your fellow sailors.
