Vancouver Singles Intro to Pottery And Ceramics May 30, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other creative for an afternoon of pottery and ceramics. Working with clay is one the most wonderful tactile experiences in the craft world. After a brief introduction and demonstration by an experienced potter; each participant will have a chance to "hand build one piece in stoneware and use the pottery wheel to make a "thrown" work.

When the pieces are finished and fired we’ll come back to the studio at a later date where we will have a chance to infuse them with more creativity using special glaze paints. We will then head out for a drink and social afterwards. Let your creative spirit run free and have lots of fun!

Please note this is a two part adventure. The second part will take place on Saturday April 3rd (for the painting portion)
