Vancouver Singles Intro to Nature Photography May 1, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other single photo buffs as we explore Maplewood Farm - one of Vancouver’s farmland treasures, through the lens of our cameras. Maplewood Farm strives to provide a unique experience, incorporating enjoyment, education and a recollection of the rural heritage of this pastoral 5 acre setting. By spending an afternoon in such a lively setting and through the passion for nature photography from our instructor, we’ll be inspired to discover the hidden talent buried in all of us.
As we walk through Maplewood Farm we’ll learn how to get down and dirty to get that perfect shot. Our instructor will share her experiences and take us to the most picturesque spots, so we can feel inspired by the natural beauty of this rural setting while we learn to take great nature photographs.
Whether you have a digital or manual camera we’ll learn tricks that no photographer should be without such as lighting, shutter speeds, f-stops and most importantly composition. So regardless if you’re a seasoned photographer or just getting to know your camera, you will find this adventure informative, light hearted and a visual feast for the soul.
