Valleyaires Barbershop Chorus Show June 12, 2009

The South Bend-Mishawaka Valleyaires are a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, based in Nashville, TN, an all male singing society with 30,000 members in the US and Canada, as well as several worldwide affiliates. The age range of the chorus members is from 16 to 80, all dedicated to quality singing and performance in a fun, family friendly setting. The chorus has won several district championships and twice competed at the prestigious Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, OH. The show will feature old standards as well as more modern a-cappella arrangements written in the barbershop style. The feature quartet will be Old School, International competition medalists and potential 2009 champions, Overture, a fantastic Sweet Adeline quartet from the Detroit area will also be featured, as well as chapter quartets. An afterglow will be held immediately after the show, featuring a more intimate setting with the chorus and quartets. Barbershop harmony shows are G rated, so feel free to bring your kids for a fun evening that you won't soon forget!
