Valhalla Festival of Muscle and Power July 22, 2011

A family weekend with a Viking theme encapsulating the Legend of Valhalla the Viking heaven, where the strong and the brave earn their place. The festival celebrates and honours warriors throughout history, from the courage of the Vikings to our modern British Armed Forces.
A full programme of events and activities will include a complete spectrum of fun and events requiring strength, courage and power. Feast on hog and oxen from the roasting spits; enjoy live music and performance; experience spear, knife and axe-throwing; try your hand at the noble arts of falconry and archery; listen to Norse storytellers and watch Viking Britain brought to life in dramatic re-enactments; take part yourself in the wide variety of workshops or better yet; throw your hat in the ring for Mr or Miss Valhalla.
