Valentine's gift-making class for the inner geek February 2, 2008

Don't know what to get your Valentine this year? How about making them a heart full of blinking LEDs!

Saturday February 2nd, 2008 The Hacktory is offering a workshop to make a blinking LED heart to get your Valentine glowing with geek pride. The class will run from 1PM to 4PM at Nonprofit Technology Resources (1524 Brandywine Street in Philadelphia, PA). The lab fee of $50 includes the take home electronics (including an awesome LED-heart kit); all soldering and electronics equipment will be provided.

The class will start by explaining the techniques of soldering electronics. It will also explain the basic principles of electronics, so you can start making your own LED-based gadgets.
