Nothing to do on Valentine's Day? Worry not, as SOVA has a lovely treat for you that night!
From 8-10 pm, Speakeasy DC is having a Valentine's Day Story Social which will also feature live music by the group, Stripmall Ballads.
For those of you unfamiliar with Speakeasy DC, this non profit organization promotes the art of live storytelling through our events, including our monthly open mic, solo shows, ensemble performances, special events, story socials, classes, and recordings.
At this Valentine's Day Story Social, there will be stories and songs about love, lust and heartbreak. However, this time, Speakeasy encourages you to also share your own personal stories while meeting new people.
Speakeasy will be charging $10 at the door.
