Valentine Chocolate & Wine Tasting at Fancifull February 6, 2009

Help a worthy cause while helping yourself to a chocolate buffet and focused tasting, along with an array of wines that includes a dry rosé from the Loire, sparkling wines of all colors and some velvety reds as well as artisan foods from the Fancifull larder (since man doesn't live by chocolate alone). The piece de resistance is the Alternate Routes Woodworking Bus which will be parked in front of Fancifull on Melrose for all to tour.
Alternate Routes, a division of SideStreet Projects, is a mobile art/woodworking studio aboard renovated transit buses where kids learn about art, design, and fabrication using only hand tools, raw materials, and their imagination. Other SideStreet programs are aimed at giving artists of all ages the ability and means to support their creative endeavors, regardless if they're in kindergarden or their 70’s.
