Utah State Fair September 7, 2005

It's a classic fairgrounds setup, a mix of brick buildings, concrete, grandstands and sprawling lawn space, with all the ambience of an abandoned air force base. But in summer months, the park transforms into an epic, outdoor music festival venue. A variety of vendors ensure the masses are well-fed and supplied with souvenirs of the band du jour. For the adult set, a beer garden is available for imbibing.
