Using GIS in Community College Institutional Research September 12, 2008

The workshop will provide an overview of computerized mapping and databases with an emphasis on integrating spatial data. Using ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.2 software, this workshop will cover topics including layers, geodatabases, importing and joining existing databases to a GIS map, importing student demographics into GIS, and performing basic spatial analysis.
