Considered by many to be the leading Web-development software, Macromedia® Dreamweaver software falls under the category of WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors. These editors have made it easier for individuals to understand Web architecture and efficiently produce and maintain Web sites without having to learn HTML, the authoring language for the Web. WYSIWYG editors employ drag-and-drop features and icon-rich interfaces that allow users to concentrate on the content and design of the page rather than the programming code. Participants in this course will use Dreamweaver to learn to author, produce and design basic Web pages and site layouts with clean code while considering functionality, usability and navigation. HTML experience is not required.

Eight Tuesdays, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Limited enrollment. Registration and fee information on the Rice GSCS Web site.
