This transdisciplinary ASHA & AOTA approved CEU workshop will offer an in depth review of communications devices, the populations best served with these devices as well as possible funding sources. A specific focus will be on the use of these technologies with children on the Autism Spectrum.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
• Participants will be able to list importance, uses and candidacy of
AAC devices.
• Participants will be able to list at least three uses of the InterAACT
Framework.
• Participants will learn how children with Autism can utilize AAC
devices as an alternative or assistive method of communication.
• Participants will learn how to implement language use and
language structure elements built into the InterAACT with verbal
behavior for children with Autism.
