Urmil Jain brings fantastical landscapes to 'A Maze of Milieu' September 8, 2009

Indian painter Urmil Jain brings to the show, Contemporary Art in it's original form. The artist draws inspiration from often overlooked everyday beauty.

Balance of bright and dark spaces in her painting 'The Empty bench' gives it a mystical feel. Against a composition of deep red buildings and forlorn trees is wedged an empty bench against the 'evening' sky that immediately draws attention to the eclipsing of time and 'waiting' Whether it is blues, greens or deep reds the treatment is romantic.
