Urban Outfitters Opening at Public Market Emeryville June 9, 2012

Public Market Emeryville welcomes the eclectic retailer Urban Outfitters to this popular center in the East Bay. The grand opening celebration includes live DJs spinning, free beverages and a portion of sales donated to Blue Bear School of Music.

Urban Outfitters joins other recently-opened businesses, Guitar Center and HOT ITALIAN, alongside establishments such as the UA/Regal Movie Theater and the more than 20 ethnic restaurants that make up the diverse offerings at the Public Market.

The new Urban Outfitters opens officially on Thursday June 7th, with a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, June 9. Yalpine and DJ Cole Berggren will be spinning in the store from 3-6pm on Saturday. Black Star Beer is a sponsor of the grand opening event. Urban Outfitters will donate 10% of the first three days' sales to the Blue Bear School of Music.

For Public Market Emeryville, the opening of this new retail destination helps showcase its variety of dining, shopping and entertainment options, as well as its growing role as a community gathering place.
