Fifty one years after Canadian-American, Jane Jacobs, published her seminal book The Death and Life of Great American Cities, her ideas on liveable and diverse neighbourhoods continue to impact how urban environments are designed. A panel including Bing Thom discusses Jane Jacobs’ legacy, including urban renewal, historic preservation, mixed-use zoning, and public space. Admission is FREE and light refreshments will be provided.
