Tour will meet at Pershing Square
Los Angeles, California

Join the "Urban Explorers" as we embark on an exploration of our city and of city life through a series of guided tours. Whether the tours are focused on architectural or cultural, historical or quirky and/or a combination of any of the above, you will certain see the many wonderful facets of our urban jungle and hopefully gain a better appreciation of the city you live in. So put on that explorer's hat and let's go!

For over twenty years, the Los Angeles Conservancy has been sharing Los Angeles' unique architectural treasures with the public through its Downtown Walking Tour program. Today, we'll be taking a private docent-led 2-1/2 hour walking tour exploring the beautiful Art Deco architecture of downtown Los Angeles.

The Art Deco style of the late 1920s is noted for lush geometric ornament, opulent materials, and lavish interiors. This thematic tour examines the rich Art Deco heritage in downtown's Historic Core. Part of the tour will even include checking out the penthouse of the beautiful Oviatt Building, seen in the pictures above.

It'll truly be a morning spent getting to know more about Los Angeles than you've ever known before. A day exploring and experiencing Historic LA is truly a great way to spend a Saturday, so please come out and join us!
