Uptown Music Theater - Sweet Thunder: Duke & Shak February 21, 2011

This theatrical jazz production, honoring Duke Ellington and William Shakespeare, features internationally acclaimed trombonist, composer, producer and 2011 NEA Jazz Masters Award recipient Delfeayo Marsalis, actor Kenneth Brown, Jr. (Treme) and the Delfeayo Marsalis octet, plus full stage set and costuming. The show is directed by John Grimsley with a script by Charles E. Gerber.
