Upshur Area Recycling EVERY DAY Drop-off September 17, 2011

Drop off area for boxed or bagged #1, #2, #4 plastics, cardboard, Old Newsprint, White Office Paper, Boxboard. All above should be separated.

Drop-off for all metal items, including auto parts, appliances, mowers, scrap metal, ie., aluminum, steel, tin, wire, etc.

Drop-off used oil (motor oil/cooking oil) in capped jugs or containers with lids secured.

We donate much of our profits to local churches and other organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities, Saint Judes Childrens Hospitals, Kids Wish Network, Etc. Last year we actually lost $32,000 and still managed to donate to most of these charities. Loss was largely due to purchase of new recycling equipment to better process recyclables in the future, and low local interest. Our eventual goal is to become 501c2 charitable organization and maintain a 90% profit donation to other 501 organizations like those listed.
