Up With People Show November 17, 2007

After 10 years, Up with People – a global education and leadership program for young adults – is returning to Hartford for an inspiring and unique performance of song and dance at the First Cathedral Church in Bloomfield on November 17 at 7 p.m. During their visit, the talented Cast C, comprised of 68 world travelers from 18 countries, will also participate in community impact projects and service in Hartford.
Up with People Cast C’s visit is sponsored by Lincoln Financial Group.
The show will feature original and international music ranging from hip hop and the blues to percussion “stomp” music and songs in sign language, energizes and educates audiences about diversity and prejudice. The multi-media production will include photos depicting Up with People’s community work, as well as performances by Hartford Children’s Theatre cast members, Artists Collective performers and First Cathedral Church Youth Choir.
