During the COMPANY season at the Theatre Royal, Kookaburra will present a late night showcase of established and emerging talent in a theatrical setting. Artists include Geraldine Turner, Phil Scott, Bert Labonte, Wayne Scott Kermond, Damien Leith, Michael Falzon and Leonie Page plus an array of up and coming musical theatre talent.

An ideal place to come after dinner or after seeing another show around town. Up Close & Musical (UCM) kicks off at 11.15pm every Friday at the Theatre Royal and is apx one hour in duration. Tickets are $18 which includes a complimentary glass of wine. All proceeds support The Nest, Kookaburra’s development and education wing.

“UCM is designed to create opportunities to see great stars up close and doing their thing as well as giving opportunity to emerging stars,” said CEO and Artistic Director of Kookaburra Peter Cousens. “We had a great time with the last season at Sydney Theatre and it was the place to be to meet up after a restaurant or another show. It is easily the best value in town.”

Peter Cousens will host the Up Close & Musical Performances after the Friday night performances of COMPANY from 6 July.
