Unnatural Selection, new paintings by Drake Brodahl September 8, 2009

Drake Brodahl is a Seattle-based artist who recently left work in the design field to jump headfirst into painting. His humorous, whimsical work hearkens to the child in us all, by evoking familiar feelings found in mid century children's books and cartoon backgrounds. Unnatural Selection explores a theme that Drake loves... odd, kooky or just plain unexpected animals. Animals who live in a world just a bit different from our own. You never know what you might find!
