University of Delaware Percussion/Marimba Ensembles March 18, 2007

The UD percussion ensemble performs the standard as well as the newlycomposed percussion ensemble literature. Composed of between 8 and 14 university percussion students, the ensemble performs both on and offcampus each year. Delaware Steel is the University of Delaware's premiere steel band. The band is made up of students and local professional pan players. The band performs popular standards as well as "panorama style" compositions written expressly for steel orchestra.
