***LIMITED TO DISTRICT PROFESSIONAL STAFF***
Universal Design for Learning is a principle that espouses the creation of flexible curricula that are accessible to all students. During this hands-on, “make and take” workshop, participants will explore and utilize a variety of free web 2.0 tools, and existing district resources, including SOLO, Bookshare, high speed scanners, digital books, FAST Math and Clicker 5, to provide their students with multiple means to access and respond to academic content. Participants will expand their school web page to incorporate supports created with these tools, so participants are encouraged to bring actual content materials to the workshop. Access to a school webpage is required, so be sure to sign up for a webpage with the tech dept before the presentation, and know your log on and password.
