United Way Partners with Fifth Third Bank to “Drive” Financial Wellness April 9, 2013

Fifth Third Bank has teamed up with United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades to bring Golden Gate residents the eBus – a vehicle that has been electronically retrofitted to serve as a mobile classroom. Also called Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment Mobile, the eBus allows visitors to receive one-on-one credit counseling, money management and homeownership advice.

In addition to regular financial empowerment services offered at the eBus, United Way will offer free tax preparation through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for qualifying households.
