United Cerebral Palsy 5K Corporate Run/Walk April 23, 2009

Work off the office blues on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity (UCP) 5K Corporate Run/Walk.

Warm-ups start at 6:15 PM on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the race starts at 7:00 PM along Martin Luther King/West River Drive.

The UCP 5K Corporate Run/Walk offers competitive and non-competitive levels of participation for teams of at least three people. So, grab your cubicle mates and friends and form a team! Runners/walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate and a wheelchair division is among the competitive levels.

John Clarke, NBC 10 Weekend Sports Anchor, will serve as Grand Marshall and Now is Music is the Radio Sponsor.

Immediately following the race there will be an After Race Party sponsored by UCP’s Young Leadership Board at Jack’s Firehouse restaurant on 2130 Fairmount Ave, just a few blocks from the Art Museum.

Participants MUST register in advance. Registration WILL NOT be accepted on the day of the race. A downloadable brochure for the race and registration form is available at www.ucpphila.org.
