Raw, Uncensored, & Hard-core stand-up comedy featuring the edgiest performers from The Opie & Anthony Show, BET, Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central and MTV is what Cringe is all about!!

The New York City Underground Comedy Festival TM celebrates stand-up comedy as an art-form. It was designed to showcase emerging talent along side headline acts in the hopes that it could bring attention to comedians who might have otherwise been overlooked.

With over 40 events in all five boroughs, including classic clubs like the Original Improv, Pips, and the Bitter End set to participate, this is both an industry and consumer event for everyone.

Events and shows are being planned that showcase the ethnic and cultural diversity of New York City virtually guaranteeing an event the entire city can rally behind.

Due to the overwhelming demand from both the industry and the general public, the 2004 festival has expanded to a full week, October 5th to October 10th, and we're inviting comedians from across the country to participate.
