Under the Radar Festival: This Fable Is Intended for You: A Work-Energy Principle January 12, 2010

In the performance 24 people are connected through a series of braided cords. As they move throughout the World Financial Center Winter Garden, the performers create temporary geometric shapes and forms that mimic elements of the Winter Garden.s architectural features. 'This Fable is Intended for You: A Work-Energy Principle' is a public project and working exhibition that amplifies the human presence and connections of the people living and working in Lower Manhattan. The project culminates in a series of performances at the World Financial Center Winter Garden where the objects made at these sites become the materials that intertwine 24 people in an evolving set of temporary geometric sculptural shapes.The gathering point will be the arts>World Financial Center Information Table, clearly identified with flags flanking the table, in front of the Winter Garden's north escalator. There, the staff will talk with audience members about the performance and the various viewing points within the Winter Garden.
