FOR UNCF?s 24th ANNUAL WALK FOR EDUCATION!
Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Exposition Park

Who: United Negro College Fund ? Los Angeles. UNCF is the nation?s oldest, largest, most successful and most comprehensive minority higher education assistance organization.

What: The 24th Annual United Negro College Fund Walk For Education. Activities include a 5K Walk/Run and a chaperoned play area for children including art projects and a jumper. A Post-Walk Festival will follow this year?s Walk, featuring refreshments, entertainment and activities for kids. NBC4 and KJLH Radio 102.3 FM will broadcast on site.

When: Saturday, May 20, 2006
7:30 a.m. ? Registration & Check In
8:00 a.m. ? Celebrity Warm-Up Program
8:30 a.m. ? Walk/Run begins

Where: Exposition Park, adjacent to the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum.

Why: To support students attending accredited four-year colleges and universities represented by UNCF.

Notable Celebrities: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be our honored guest; Councilmember Bernard Parks and KJLH Radio?s Kevin Nash are the Honorary Chairs and NBC4 Morning News Anchor Chris Schauble will again emcee! Plus, the warm up will be with the beautiful Madison Chase, the three-time ESPN2 Ms. Fitness Women's Champion and a Celebrity Life Coach. Other celebrities will be announced soon!
