The University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra performs its last concert of 2007, featuring the Winner of the 2006-7 UMSO Concerto Competition, violinist Jennyrose Spence, in Ravel's Tzigane. Purcell's Funeral Music for Queen Mary (UM Symphonic Wind Ensemble), Ottorino Respighi's Fountains of Rome and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 3, op. 55 “Eroica” round out the program.
